    Hello,
    Just started to play the game. Just curious.. is it possible to play this game for free? I seem to be out of building permits, and can't figure out how to get more without spending real money.

    1) Yes, playing for free is without problems, though progress is slow sometimes.
    2) You get more buildings unlocked as you level up. Or later from events etc.

    As nortoncommander pointed out, free permits are unlocked as you level up. You can see what buildings unlock at what level by checking our our FAQ Section.
