Loading Issues

I hardly had this problem before although I have read such issues being brought up in the forum but since yesterdays update my game is constantly hanging requiring constant refreshing of the game just to complete the collection of rents and production tasks.

The game is becoming tedious requiring a minimum of two to three restarts just to complete one session. Please advice.

it could be LAG have you tried clearing your cache etc also trying a different browser, on occasions i have had similar problems, so what i do is go make a coffee/tea and give the game 5 minutes to load before i start any rent collecting etc i hope that is of some help

 

Thank you for your reply skippy. The problem comes and goes...so not sure if its cache as I regularly clear it...will wait and see...thanks again

 

There are actually dozens, if not more causes of these problems. So much goes on behind the scenes of our magical boxes (the Computers) and the connections between them (the internet). The problem could be at any point in the chain starting with your computer; through all of the servers connecting you to the gaming servers and back again. Anyone of which could have an issue causing delay or difficulties causing the lag or problems signing in. It is amazing that this automatic complex system works so well at all. That we do not even notice it at work 99.99999999% of the time.

 

thats exactly right Billyjim, going back years ago you were able to ping yourself and that would help in most cases but i dont thinks that is available anymore

 

I logged on as you a few moments ago and then retested using IE and Firefox, both are working without issue so from Bigpoints end there is no obvious issue.
I know you clear your browser cache but can you try and clear your flash cache, right click the screen in game and click "about" and you should be able to clear that cache.

I have cleared the flash cache as per your request, keeping my fingers crossed and am assuming that all is cool so you can close this thread. Thank you.

 

We have found that flash is playing some odd games with us and I even ended up with this issue myself on one system.
That gave us the clue as it only effected one machine and flash cache was the problem.

Fingers crossed all will work now.
