loading issues!!

I have an issue with the game loading about 80% and the remaining 20% takes a long time to materialize. Meanwhile I can play the game but sometimes when I switch playfields the game hangs and I have to restart again.

Other times, it loads but I can hardly see some of the buildings especially if I have been actively playing for the day. I have cleared browser and flash cache and it makes no difference.

A reset might do the trick. Meanwhile I can still play....there are good days and not so good days.
Please advice.

Have you cleared your browser cache, Adobe Flash Cache. If that does not work try shutting down the browser and restarting the computer from a cold start (turning off the computer and restarting the computer). As you have learned the restarting the game some times work. The cache's do not always clear when you clear them but starting a new usually works. Another thing to try is to use a different device to access your game this will also clear the cache's and start new ones.

If this does not work then ask for a reset from the moderators. They will be along soon.

I have done all that you have suggested. That is how I have been managing with the game and partial loads for the last one month. In fact, after every session, I log out and close the browser, all this helps but for a while...for instance my latest session, I had to restart 3 times just to complete my rental collections...(sigh!!!) I am not even sure if a reset will help at this point...just wondering but hey thanks for your feedback...much appreciated

 

In my experience, playing in fullscreen accelerates such problems and they always happen more easily when your RAM or internet bandwidth usage is high. If you are having such consistent problems despite taking usual measures, that would be my best guess. As you noticed, restarting the browser removes it from memory, and helps more than refreshing or forcing Flash to crash. Flash can be like that, and I usually have to force it to close several times in a day, even aside from RC. This can happen with a lot of programs; sometimes they just need a restart. If you run other things, memory can and likely will leak. At worst, you have no choice but to reboot.

tassie, thank you for resetting my game....however, please advice how to get my mood and energy back which has gone down below 75% after the reset...

fx4life The reset of your game has reset all of the values to the actual values. The use of Residential improvements artificially inflates the mood and power levels. What you need to do: For the mood level add decorations, update your Residential Improvements; For the power level you probably need to build more powerplants, there are a few Residential Improvements that help with the power level.

 

This is a sad fact about having your game reset. You lose the accumulated mood and power points from the glitch in the game. The best way to think of this is you have had those points for free after your RI's have expired. You would have had to build or replace these items earlier if you had lost those points when the Ri's had expired. So in my opinion a price of doing business in my thinking.
