  1. I believe we as loyal members of the Rising Cities family ask that the devs introduce a annual reward example as below,
    Year 1 lumber mill
    Year 2 Farm
year 3 brickyard upgrade to level 4
    etc
What are you thoughts and ideas on this
i have set a poll lasting 4 weeks and am hoping your input will be looked at by the powers that be :):)

Great suggestion. I do believe that this is needed for our loyalty to the game and to keep us around.

I like the idea as well. My tankard is filled and raised as well. "To Skippyroo1980 and his idea". If it ever gets put in place I have a Dom 2008 waiting to be opened, I will break out the Waterford crystal for that one.

Edit -- Scratch the champagne just talking about it I could not resist. It was very nice fruity and full bodied with a mild oak after tone. Sorry guys will have to go to the winery tomorrow and replace.

I'm all for something extra, though I'm again mostly against any permanent increase in disparity (and consequentially, balance) concerning core things like manufacturing, and in general, these kinds of seniority benefits that are significantly advantageous simply because you have played longer, which is likely just luck. Better to keep people playing by keeping it interesting than bribing them with highly-desired things just to placate which may eventually cease to be significant anyway. Little use in more manufacturing if you've little to use it on, and vice versa.

So for me, the answer would just depend on what is being given.

Yeah, stuff like that is more acceptable. Special residencies are pretty much eye-candy, though it's still a bummer that I can't get earlier ones. I want the haunted manor and more rustic villas and Easter lodges and associated deco. I understand the value of these kinds of in-the-moment and long-term things for players and game developers, I just don't agree on total lockout in general because life isn't that accommodating even if you are already a regular and/or long-time player. These are virtual goods that aren't actually limited, unlike special production runs of physical things which are, somewhat, and unlike many other games like MMOs, such legacy assets can't be traded. RC in particular doesn't have anything to gain by locking access to legacy items.

A mill and farm have been added as level rewards, which will likely take a couple years to reach for many already if you play loyally every day. If loyalty is only registration date, then loyalty = luck, not actual contribution to the game's community. They could add another mill and farm in mid-level brackets to incentivize without making people feel like they have to be addicted to progress, for example.

I meant special event rewards especially. Lower event brackets, it's unreasonable to start a new account for those. That stuff should just be available to everyone. In my case, I would loose more than I'd gain, so no point.

I can kind of agree for special events, but the recurring events that are locked by level have no reason to be so. I've been over that elsewhere enough though.

I agreed above with the idea of a loyalty reward...never stated what I thought that reward ought to be. So at this point I will add that to be a true loyalty award it should be counted in terms of time spent logged in and playing, or maybe in Levels achieved; something to show there has been time, dedication, and loyalty to the game given. Here's a good idea (I think)...let the loyalty reward be a Platinum Permit, good for one free residential or deco but with this twist: the permit gives you access to a list (like the designer depot) and allows you to get a residential or deco you had missed out on and could not otherwise get (the legacy items Arsuru was talking about) like a haunted house or even a rustic windmill. This would reward players for loyalty without giving too much of an extra, and would solve the legacy lockout. As well, loyalty rewards should be limited. One per year sounds ok...but if you're not playing, then you're not being loyal, so it can't be just a time factor. It's a good idea but the specifics will take working out.

You do know that we have a loyalty program already. The rewards we receive for reaching each new tier and level in the game. We receive prizes and free items. Now if the "Powers that Be" wish to enhance these rewards I will not complain. ;)

Sorry was away for a few days and missed that posting.:oops: Great minds do come to the same conclusions even if we take separate routes.

But, we always want more. We are like a group of school kids. Give us one cookie we want three more and it does not hurt to ask for more. Once in a while we get it. "Holding my breath till I turn purple, then you will be sorry."

Great idea. Many of BigPoint games have a login bonus. Nice little stuff just for not missing a day. after a week the gift could be better and if the players make it a month even better. But if a player could make it a year without fail they could receive a building of his or her choice, and every building would be available to get. from a event building to the smallest decor. A year without fail is not easy to complete and sure not going to happen as often as we all want. But would be worth it for both sides.
