Lumber Jack Chopping wood event

I read that when you collect rents from your citizens axes would drop. I have collected rent from my citizens for the last hour and no axes have dropped. Is there a certain level the house has to be before the axes drop or can it be any level?

 

Probably won't get many axes from low-level buildings, but as you collect rent from higher-level buildings, you should definitely get axes. The drop rate is pretty slow though

 

Axes drop from all homes, but as MrMungo has pointed out, better chances come from higher homes, while lower homes have smaller chance of axes to drop.
You can check how many you have collected in the warehouse - special items section.

 

I finally started getting axes. I do not have many higher level houses. I am only level 13 but I am working on it. I may not get the challenge finished but I am making progress. Thanks for your help!
