Hello other city builders.
I have the most unsuccessful result from emergencies of anyone on here (I guess), my last five emergencies have all been disasters.
How do I get better?

 

The main way to improve your chances is to add more substations. During education of your specialist, alertness can add to the coverage area of the main emergency stations, but until you get a good stream of education points to train them to high levels, I'd invest it into motivation personally. With motivation, you'll get more medals which will help get more booster packs which can contain substations. The Artist Week event also gives them as rewards, and there is a starter pack available.

To minimize loss in the meantime, power plants don't need coverage so can be placed outside, and you don't have to clean up the failed emergency on them for them to continue; they won't get any as long as the icon remains.

yes power plants do need coverage for your emergency to be successful. best thing to do is to go to the street view to see the color you get green is the best. water tanks are best for fire, surveillance stations 4 police, emergency clinic 4 hospital, they help whit city mood. so that's a big +!

 

To be successful, yes, but this is about getting the most coverage possible at the beginning, where there are less resources. Not clearing the failure icon from a plant won't allow it to have another emergency, so you can put your few substations to better use, like manufacturing. Power plants can then be left outside of the coverage area with no penalty and emergencies will be more likely to happen where you can respond to them. It only a temporary measure, unless you want to save a bit of space eventually by using less substations.

 

I cannot connect to the city to collect my rent, is anyone else having this problem please?

 

Could you please try the following advice below and also try logging into your Game Account to see if this helps with this issue?
Also try to log in with google Chrome, it seems to be the browser that best supports this game

Please delete your browser cache. We've compiled a guide on all major browsers for you here.

• Internet Explorer 6:

Tools --> Internet Options... --> Delete Cookies and confirm with "Yes". Afterwards, delete files (check) and confirm with OK.

• Internet Explorer 7 + 8 (IE7 + IE8):

Tools --> Internet Options... --> Delete Browser History ... --> Delete All... (check) and confirm with "Yes". Afterwards, click "OK" and all files will be deleted.

• Internet Explorer 9:

Tools --> Delete Browser History
Remove checkmark from "Keep preferred sites"
Add checkmark to "Temporary Internet Files", "Cookie", "History" as well as "Download History".
Then click "Delete".

• Firefox

Tools --> Delete Latest History --> Add checkmark to Cache, Cookies and Visited Pages and Download History and then select "Delete All" and confirm with "OK".

• Google Chrome

Click the wrench icon in the browser's toolbar. Select "Tools" and then "Delete Internet Data". Add checkmark to "Delete Browser History", "Delete Download History", "Delete Cache", "Delete Cookies and Other Website and Plug-in Data" and then click the "Delete Data" button.

• Safari

Select "Safari" in the browser menu and then "Delete Cache". Confirm with "Empty".
Please then close your browser, open it again and log back into the game.

Also check if Flashplayer is updated and its cache cleaned as well.

I have rest your Data also, it is a must that you provide us with your game id so that we can find your account, as you have a different forum name to your game account this makes it extremely difficult to locate your data
