Marketplace UGH...

    I know the dev team is aware of issues that seem to be going on with the marketplace right now...;) adding one more reply to the list in hopes it can be fixed soon.


    Marketplace related questions:
    Ever since I began playing some time last year (?maybe summer?), I have had a fifth slot with a lock symbol and the words "Coming Soon". I do not recall ever seeing anything in OA or FAQ about this. Has there ever been anything posted about the fifth slot being available or will there be?
    :cool:*wondering if it will be available to sell overage specialty items during events. ;)Note to self: maybe I should add that to the idea pool!:p

    I also have seen similar comments and have had the marketplace show a popup: "The highest price has changed. Please check your offer again."
    I likewise do not recall seeing any posts about this change. If it is in one of the OA, would you please share a link to the post? THANKS!
    That 'bug/issue' is one that comes and goes. :rolleyes: It's rather irritating to try to sell a product at a certain price and to get the popup with that price on it. For example, I just tried to sell 50 raspberries at 8 CC each and got the popups with the quote above and the number 8 by a CC. >.< :confused:

    I'm not sure if this is what others are experiencing. It seems that I only get the popup when I try to fill a third slot of items for sale. I can currently only have two offers available.
     
  3. That thing with "highest price" is a bug.

    Wonder what takes them so long to fix the market anyway.

    The fifth slot is not yet enabled and I have no idea when it will be, this may be because of the cache issues that some people experience.

    The market problem only effects around 5% of players and as I understand it is directly related to stored data by the system (Cache) this is not your local data so you cannot clear it.
    The reason it is taking so long to fix is that it only effects a small number of people and often cures itself before the techs can see it.
    I do know they are looking at the market closely to try and make a global fix but in the short term we post players ID's in the devs area and they are fixed (and looked at) on a one by one basis.

    Hope that gives a clearer picture.

    :) Thank you for helping me (and anyone else who reads the replies) to understand the bug with the marketplace and for the info about the fifth sales slot.
    :confused: So, until the bug is completely fixed, I'll just have to make the right choices for what to sell in my two working sales slots. :p

  7. Been almost two weeks for me with marketplace issue. Seems it does not like my fourth spot for market items. Have no trouble on first, second and even third spot, but if I try to sell something in fourth spot, NO GO!
    Fifth "locked" spot I'd hoped would unlock with each level completed.... so far on level 43 and no such luck. PLEASE FIX MARKETPLACE!!!!

    To add to your misery you can forget about the fifth spot as its not in the game.
    None announcement have been done when, if ever, it will be available :(

    Two weeks now look like a year ;) , please fix the Market soon for me as well.

    All players that have posted their IDs to support are now fixed, those that have not sent their ID numbers need to send them.
    I will place them all with the team and they will fix the problem within a few hours for each player.

    Please do not post those IDs on the forum send them to support (Me).:D
