    one of the tasks is to complete all mastery challenges for a house. What are they?

    Mastery challenges are tasks required to be completed before you are allowed to up grade a house to the next level. What you need to do is upgrade a house to level 3 then the game will give you a series of five tasks to accomplish before it will allow you to upgrade the house to level 4 see this thread in the FAQ's section

    the prefab is generally the easiest house to do for this quest.
