    New house idea:
As the mayor I could use a home. But not just a home like everyone else, The mayors home is one of a kind. And should boost up anyone the lives near.
Could make it locked till the city gets to a size of 5.000 people. That makes the Mayors house harder to unlock. Or at level 35 with upgrades every 10 levels after.
I think everyone would like to have a Mayors house. And gives the game a little more fun when planning out the city.

Nifty idea could also be linked to the City Hall levels also (1 to 8) The larger and more sophisticated your city the more grandiose the Mayor house would become. The house could start as a relatively simple home and metamorphosis into some thing truly spectacular and appropriate palace for a mayor of a major metropolitan city. After all we do have to entertain visiting dignitaries in a style appropriate for the reputation of the city. It is kind of embarrassing to hold a State dinner at the Hollywood Diner, Pizza Palace or the Floating Restaurant.

Splendid idea! I live in the capitol of my State, and once had a place a couple of blocks from the Governor's manse and I agree completely with the reasoning. Besides, as an RC Mayor, of course I'd love a fancy house for "me" ;)

I have made a city admin area with the ER buildings, City Hall, and Academy adding the Mayor House would be a nice addition. :)

I also think the player should get to pick the style of house for the mayors home. Expl: classical/ modern. This would give the players a extra little perk to how the city looks. And if the Mayors house could have any bonuses, it would change the bonuses to fit the style of home they picked. Expl: Classical could raise the rental and needs revenue of the city by 5%. / Modern would cut the energy cost by 10% and mood loss 15%.
With three levels to upgrade the bonus could get a little better, with the last and hardest level being a bonus that would raise the production of every manufacturing buildings of 5%.for both styles of home.

Yes I think you see where I am going with this. Do you think it could come to the table for Big Point to add to the game?

Supposedly the developers read all of the idea posts from the Forum. But, they have to select and chose which ones to develop. Then the last message from the RC Team said they are putting all of their efforts in debugging the game and hope to be working on improvements in future. So we will have to see what happens. :)

Bugs are bad to have, but all their efforts could kill this game if it takes a too long. And then who to say they won't make new bugs when updates come about. And Big Point is so well known for bugs and hacks/bots, to even try to get them all would take so long even I would stop playing by then.So lets all hope they ask for help from players and other outside sources, to fix the issues.

Actually they (Rising Cities team) have taken great strides in improving the game over the last year. Just go back and read some of the old forum posts from last year. There use to be several dozen requests for help daily (this is being polite and conservative) and the comments were getting quite caustic (even from me). So we have come a long way.

I, like you hope they do not take to long and start moving some of their resources to giving us some new items and updates. For me they do not have to be block busters like they did last spring with two new play fields, and twenty five new levels, with associated residences, commercial, production, decoration, roads and etc. I will be happy with some small updates to the events. Such as: Different prizes and rewards; Alternating residences; Some new tasks to challenge higher level players. :)
