Missing road section......

Allo folks

I've finally got the bridge mended and visited the beach on the Western side of the playing-field, along with building some housing-units there. I also built a road from the pier back to the bridge.

My problem is that the first grid-square from the bridge won't let anything be built on it, meaning I can't connect anything to the bridge. The poor residents thee are getting very bored with trotting/driving back and forth along the road there, but not able to go shopping in the town or visit their friends - Is this normal?


Also, am I right in thinking I have to get to level-25 to open t'other 2 roads, East and South?

 

If I understand you correctly. You think your beach residents should be driving over the bridge to the main playing field? No they do not do this, sorry, the cars and pedestrians are not exchanged between playfields. It would be neat if they did. The first square is built outwith the parking lot and what ever that small structure is suppose to be (toll booth, administrative building).
