Like most games - there always seems to be a 'hidden agenda' - if you follow 'your heart' then you very soon will have trouble in this game: ex. solving task and expanding your city - to your heart's content - exchange you're shooting stars [IMG] for comet packs [IMG] and collecting CC [IMG]/PP [IMG] /EP [IMG] from residential Buildings and using your ticket [IMG] on Loot-O-Magic and using your 'hard earned' MM [IMG] faster than you can get them and the best ... starting the ERS.

Until you reach lv25 (15 depends on the event) - you're new best friend should be ;)- if you want to make the most of it:

    - the event-FAQ's
    - the calendar in this forum - almost direct access to event-FAQs - just two click
    - Helpful Topics Index
    - Levels & Experience - it's not flawless - ex. I think at lv 25 you get 24hours-rentcollector
    - Quest/Task List
    - using 'Search' in Forum - don't get to upset about this function - it's by far from flawless
    - the Cinema - great MM-source - don't always work - also depends on the location and settings of your computer - but nevertheless from time to time you can get some MM

Your first problem is how to get CC and PP: the fastest way is doing event (or just some of the stages) and some of the Task.

So your main goal should be: being able to do returning-events as they occured in the calendar - and only do Task which support this goal - and wait doing ERS-related task - it is fun though.

And the key to success: plan ahead.

The Event Farmer's Market is : One Time Only to get some exclusive decorations - so don't miss out on that - the only way to do this is to slow down lv-up - and that's not easy - you get exp-point for everything even when you buy expansion. When your're doing event don't collect rental from houses unless you have to - that's not easy since you get 60 hours-rental-collector at lv9 - and you really want to make the most out of that oppertunity .

Keep an eye on your exp-lv and the mood and energy:

    - if mood go below 75 % then your citizens will leave your town and you will lose rental
    - if energy go below 75 % then your production will be reduced - not good when doing event
    - if you lv-up to fast you will miss out on some of the exclusive decorations from events
    - produce lumber to lv-up Lumbermills - and tomatoes to lv-up Farms when needed

Hold on to your MM, shooting stars and Loot-O-Magic-ticket - if you can :p - and only use them when needed (shooting stars can sometimes provide you with CC and PP) - the rewards depends on your lv.

And if everything fails ;) - you can always start over - it's really one of the good BP-games.

    When buying expansion use CC:

    - keep them together
    - if you must buy the one which contain Buildings: go for the one with the lv3-Farm
    - make sure you can enter the Mountains at lv25 - great energy-source are waiting for you

    Need event-drops:

    - one-of-two: you can either use the time it takes with few Residential Building or buy new CC-Buildings - don't lv-up Buildings unless you need to change residents-type.

If you start Farmers Market at the end of lv14 then you get the opportunity to do it again at lv15 - so plan ahead - produce or buy at the Marketplace the needed products - that goes for all the events.

Did Childrens Festival with - except the 'cross-over':

with the CC from this event and lv-up bought expansion - started Classic Car Show and bought brickyards etc. and doing stage 5.
