Apologies if this has already been suggested, but I couldn't find it with the Forum search engine....

Basically similar to the one click "Rent Collector" which is awesome (BIG THANK YOU to BIGPOINT for the current one :D ), perhaps the option of a one click "Produce Top Up" that automatically tops up your commercial buildings from your warehouse.

I think it could be really handy, particularly if your using the rent collector - easy to forget to top up your produce!!

    Just a thought... ;):):p:D

It has been suggested before. But, that is okay, it needs to be suggested again. :)

It is a good idea, and would certainly be helpful (providing you had the available supplies in your warehouse). Inherent complication is how the resources get allocated if you fall short on enough to top off all your commercial buildings with a given product; the coding would need to specify filling the commercial buildings covering the highest population (therefore higher revenue generating) buildings first and allocating in a descending priority. Other than that, it is a wonderful idea.

It looks as though you are suggesting tying both the rent collector and re-stocking your commercial buildings together, is that correct?

I personally would not want the two combined. If for some reason you won a rent collector for six hours but for another reason you were low on certain resources - or holding on to them for an event - you might not want to top up your commercial buildings.

I like 'KISS' methods, so the suggestion here is to keep the two separate so you could use either :)

No, that isn't quite what I'm suggesting in principal. I don't think any kind of restocking should be a paid feature, rather, the restocking mechanic should be done away with. If it should be made a paid feature, then yes, I think it should be tied to the rent collector just as needs and rent are tied. As-is, the rent collector is flawed when you supply needs.

It actually is more simple, and more out-of-the-way. You can control what building gets what giving you more freedom overall.

The real issue comes down to how to implement the process there are several options to do this and many solutions to chose from. One of the reason I do not foresee this coming any time soon. :( But we can still hope.

Well it was just a thought, but it seems a few more available commercial buildings (or at least a few more upgrade levels) might be more important than topping up the existing ones with a click :)

Most of the commercial buildings do become available in events, Lot-o-matic and Bonus packs. They will take some time to get building permits to build up but does take some time and some are random.

The problem with more buildings is more space and less efficient layouts. Only adding more capacity is a partial solution, though it would help. If upgrading further follows the current model, with increasing range and a doubling of capacity, the problem will persist. Really, the numbers of goods produced, consumed, stored, etc. should all be reassessed, I feel.
