    I had 174 citizens now i have 120. What happened? I am a beginner i am trying to reach 450. However, 54 of my towns people have vanished.

    just4_Tea - What appears to have happened is that your mood level has fallen below 75 % which causes your residences to be unable to support as many residents. This is why the population has been reduced. You need to raise your mood level above 75 %. Try to add some decorations to your city and or improvements.
