I have read a lot of basic complaints about the structure of rewards. Overall, I think people like the random aspect, but would like to see some of the poorest "rewards" eliminated from the harder to reach bonuses. To go from a copper to a Bronze emergency medal reward, for example, you have to BOTH use much, much better personel AND have twice as many medals.. yet you only get double the reward. There is an occasional chance to get a single, better structure, but that doesn't seem enough to make up for the extra effort required in most people's minds.

Anyway, here are some suggestions for improving the situation. This is just my idea. I hope it begins the discussion.
    EMERGENCY AWARD MEDALS
Copper -- the most basic level, these can probably stay "as is", though I am not sure Oak trees and daisies are much of a reward even for beginners.

Bronze-- eliminate at least the prefab and modern home permits, and start decorations with the rhodendron, offer at least 50 lumber (the rest can stay "as is"), 120 tomatoes.

Silver -- start with fountain or tree as the smallest decoration offered, energy efficient row house or urban cottage as the smallest structure (the special permits that show up "before" these are OK, because they are special), offer double the tomatoes, potatoes, beams and lumber offered at the bronze level.

Gold -- Any (non-special) building lower than a vintage duplex is pretty dissapointing, even outright insulting, at this level (that is, a vintage duplex is not that great, but its at least reasonably better than other levels). Similarly, Decorations lower than palm trees are probably not useful to anyone far enough along in game to get gold medals. Products are trickier. Doubling the silver levels for the lower items again would be nice, but might be a tad overkill. I have so many tomatoes right now anyway, for example, I hardly need more. Stilll, I do use them and can sell them, so they are not worthless.

Platinum -- have no experience with this level, but rewards should increase similarly.

    OTHER AWARDS:

Shooting stars: I think most of these rewards are pretty nice already, seem to have been set well already. ( 10expresso, 50 vitamin K, 5 metro money, 25-50K productionpoints/education points/ CC, 5 master keys.)

    Loot-a-matic:
fun, but just take out the small oak trees, daisies, modern homes. Potatoe and tomatoe quantities were rather dissapointing, but they do balance out some of the nicer rewards as long as the probabilities of getting the lowest rewards are roughly even with the highest.

I LIKE YOUR IDEA, THE MORE OUR MAYOR LEVEL INCREASE, THE MORE BETTER WE SHOULD GET THE REWARDS

I agree also. The game gets harder for us to reach each additional level. Takes more experience points to reach each additional level, costs more cc and materials to reach higher levels in structures and city hall. Why should we not receive more and better rewards when we reach higher levels in the game.

    That already happens?
The city hall bonuses already go up, and we obtain more goods, get better permits and earn shooting stars that offer definitely good rewards as we complete levels.

What are you thinking about? Post your idea?

My idea, I guess had more to do with the rewards for the emergency medals, but I said I just wanted to start a discussion.
