Price of land expansions

Did the price of land expansions go up with the changes? It could have been a special running but usually the special is on MM not CC.

I had two or three that were 24,000 last time I was on. Now they are 29,000.

 

I don't know how long you've been playing or how many plots you've purchased, but each time you purchase a piece of land, the price goes up for the next piece. Maybe that helps?

 

Land expansion price goes up each time you purchase one.

 

No change of land price on my end.

Well, the price is more expensive the farther back from your starter land. It wont go up just because of all the land you have bought. You can buy a piece of land on one side of the starter, and the other side's price will not go up.

Btw, you probably already bought the land before and it was 24,000 and the next was 29,000. I think you might have been confused.

Oops... I just realized you said this. But it will also go up the way i said.

Ex. I have four land expansions that are 24,000. I buy one of those. The other three that were 24,000 go up to 29,000. So when I buy the next one at 29,000, the other two will go up in price again?

 

That's correct, after a wile they will cost a LOT.
Some cost a bit extra like if its a lake on it or clay pit.
Mystery expansions (have a little sign on them) also cost extra but have a nice surprise on them.

Try to buy the expansion next to the broken bridge so you have it at level 20.

If the prices were set, it would be too difficult for lower levels to purchase land or too easy for higher levels to purchase. The way it's set presents a challenge, which allows players to set and achieve goals. Regardless, that would, in fact, be something for the idea pool.
