Price of land

Does the price of each plot of land change?

 

the price of a plot of land will rise after each purchase, if you hover your mouse over the available vacant plots you will be able to view the purchase price

But when I brought a new plot of land, some other plots' prices lowered by alot. The plot of land with the Dilapidated Chapel on is now 89,000CityCredits but before it was way more expensive then that. Actually about half of the plots I can buy are 89,000CityCredits.

 

Certain plots cost more than others. These plots have features (access to other play fields, decoration, special construction location, etc.) or free completed buildings on them that increase there value. This is reflected in the cost of the plots. Versus plots which are only land suitable for development. Every plot you buy increases the cost of all plots still for sale on that play field.

 

But why when I brought a plot of land most of the other land got cheaper and not more expensive or does it sometimes do that on purpose.
