Production Points

I may be wrong but its seems that the game is not making production points today. I've made rolls, rent, etc., but I haven't gained any production points. I finally purchased some so I could keep going. Is this a technical problem with the game?

I am confused we do not gain production points by making products. We use production points to make products. We get production points when we collect rent from our worker residents. So to increase your amount of production points you need to increase the number of workers in your city. You can do this either by building more residences and moving in more workers or change the residents to workers in existing residences.

Your biggest issue is the fact that you are not meeting the needs of almost your entire city. As an example you have two Hollywood diners and a bakery at the top of your main city map that do not actually service any buildings at all. Hover your mouse over your shops and a blue square will appear, all the buildings will light up if they are being serviced. Also when you hover your mouse over those commercial buildings an envelope with a tick appears. Those buildings are not being serviced it is just a signal so you can see which type of houses needs a particular business. You are not earning many production points due to this issue, the only points you are earning are from those buildings dedicated to Workers like the residential towers.
