Promotion code?

So i just bought some MM and got a message saying something about a promotion code: 7F6EBYYF What do I do with it?

 

that promotion code is to give to someone else to use for their first purchase of MM once used its cant be used again i think thats how it works

That code works for a newbie when they first buy MM. If they've bought MM before then it won't work for them. If they successfully use it, they get an extra 10% MM on what they paid for, ie pay for 300, get 330. And you also get an extra 10%. The code only works once as well, so once one person has used it, it can't be used again.

In your example do we each get 30MM extra?

 

unfortunately you dont get the bonus as well only the newbie

You're mistaken. Both players get the extra 10%

 

Thank you, BigWillem. What I wasn't sure of was whether the person who originally bought the MM, and gave the code out gets 10% of what they originally bought, or 10% of what the new buyer bought. I've never been fortunate enough to find a newbie who needed the code. I think there is a thread somewhere else in the forum for people to post codes, but I can't find it at the moment.
