Hm should I build some more reserve power?
You never know when a cloudy day with no wind will come.

I think I might be doing the same but placing them on the narrow it of the coast that is an awkward space to create any useful residential blob

  3. And all the people who would come to visit the coast will see these ugly power plants?

Not a bad idea. With the glitch in the RI's causing the slow droping of mood and power requirements. If and when something happens and you get your game reset the power and mood levels get reset. Then you have to panic construct a bunch of power plants and mood enhancements. Just went through this myself. So it is a great idea to be prepared.

I'm getting younger by the minutes with all that laughing :p or I should maybe shed a tear ;)

I did both. I cried and wailed when I went down to less than 75 % power and mood in an instant. I had to build several power plants and had to place several dozen Zeus statues and Rock and Roll Monuments to get back above 75 %. Then I had a good laugh.

Why did you choose the Mountains to place your reserve power?

Couldn't find any use for that tiny strip so it was either dumping ground for deco or power plants.
As 7 squares is ideal for dumping power plants the choice was easy.
I now have 14 plants there but still room for more :) so when I need room I can still move plants there.
