reset request

Hello, I am requesting a game reset to fix graphic thing going on (occurred after a series of disconnect) and loads and does not load correctly. Already tried other browsers and clearing catches. ID 9600268 Thank you in advance.

I think that it did at first because it was all loaded, but I got up and was away from the computer for about 5 minutes. Now it is back to not working and I'm not sure why really, but it is back to broken.

 

I hope you can see the pictures on your side (I'm not really sure how this works). But it's some kind of load error. Can you please reset one more time?

it is now 1:30 PST (PM) and if you didn't just reset me again, it is working again. It kept telling me my Shockwave Player was crashing (Adobe) and so I just realized how do I clear a Shockwave Player because I cleared my Flash. So I uninstalled it. Now the game is working. So if you didn't just save me, then maybe that is the issue. (disconnecting, not loading) or something. So I no longer need a reset here. Thanks.

okay, nevermind, I still do have the problem. I'm not really sure why. So I guess reset and I'll watch the forums or something. I'm confused. I have the same problem as others here but I'm lost in it. Reset worked last time so I'm not sure if I can explain or recreate the problem really. It just kept disconnecting then it said my Shockwave crashed, do you want it to complete or to stop it etc. etc. But it said specifically Shockwave. I removed that and I'm not sure how it's related, I figured it just grabs that instead of Flash Player. But it's no longer on my system. It was working, then it goes back to not working and keeps logging me out with internet connection loss and then will not load all the way but loads to play (as seen in the photos above).

I'm not sure what is going on. It is now working. (Sorry to write so many times). This is just confusing is all. But I don't think it's a reset issue if again you didn't just reset it now (2:30PM PST). I don't know where the problem is. Okay, thank you.

No, it did not fix. Can you see the pictures above (because I put them and I can see and am not so internet smart). The second picture there is a spot of missing houses. Their collection time shows with the little gold coin floating in the sky over the field or two close to another building. They are the first two country homes. (Where it looks like you could collect from a skatepark.) It goes back and forth like this. Sometimes it goes back to working. I'm not sure. It started when it would disconnect me or I'd log out for the day. When I return it's back. Yesterday it happened over and over between working and not working.
I also have another question. I noticed on the error code post that many players posted beneath it. Is this thread that I'm placing then called Spamming or Flooding?
The game didn't load before and I had it reset (this is also a different post or thread) then it happened again and I requested another reset on a new thread. Is this Spamming or Flooding? Now the game loads, but is cosmetically unstable. I figure it's some general problem or something and I run into it's fix when posted. ID 9600268 If this problem is weird, then yes I want to fix it. But I need to be told the steps to get there. (I am a disabled person)

new post added to this post (because I'm not sure if it is called Spamming or Flooding) so the problem is the game is still broken. I can log in just fine though. The graphics are messed up. It did start working yesterday and then crashed again and has been crashed since. It loads, it just doesn't load the graphics all the way. I'm not sure what the problem could even be (I keep clearing my catche) but can you reset one more time and not take offense if I don't come back to the forum. Because if you reset it or don't I won't pay attention because I don't understand and it doesn't really make a difference and until the problem is fixed (or found actually for others then fixed) then myself is only going to be asking if I cannot log in because this is too hard. It does the screenshot thing and other than that, I don't understand and it doesn't really matter because I can log in.

Xioliablue, a couple of questions and if they are redundent I appoligize. Which browser are you using, the game works on all of them but some seem to work better for certain people? Have you tried a different browser? You say you are clearing your Adobe cache are you also clearing your browsers cache? Are you running more video intensive programs at the same time? Have you completely shut down your computer and restarted the computer?

Do have a little patience. Tassie and the rest of us are trying to help.

Usually, these kinds of display glitches in your screenshots are the result of either a poor/congested Internet connection (supported by the disconnections you were having) or your computer's recourses (RAM, CPU, GPU) being overloaded. If you've had a reset and this is still happening so frequently, that might be the reason. Shockwave Flash is indeed Flash Player. Shockwave Player is something else, and I can't recall the last time I've ever needed it as it seems to have been largely abandoned. I doubt there would be a conflict, but make sure things are updated.

Spamming/flooding is when you just make a lot of posts/topics, especially irrelevant to the topic/board, usually in a short time and if in the same thread, without another user responding (which is also multiposting, which is however sometimes needed, because edits can't always bump older treads, especially in a less active board). Spam as a term contrasts flooding in that it is more likely to be applied to commercial solicitation/bots/irrelevant posts, and flooding is usually just about the amount, though they often go together. The error code was another global issue. You have a unique recurring one and your previous thread was closed. You aren't spamming or flooding.

Hey Xioliablue, I also have a similar issue with screen display occasionally, usually when I first log on. The display usually clears and resets to normal when I change screens from city to any of the other locations. I have found that this problem is occurring less often now that I have turned off increasing tips and increasing symbols in account options.

It doesn't seem to affect gameplay for me, so it may be a different issue.

I've also found that I have fewer problems using Mozilla Firefox as my browser. I may be worthwhile trying that, too.
