    After playing a couple of days, fiddling around, making mistakes, and using up resources unwisely, is there a way to re-set, or re-start the game?

    No, just start a new city. Your old city will eventually get wiped out of the database after a specific period of inactivity.

    I'm sorry if this sounds daft but...how do I start a new city? I don't see a menu...

    make a new account.
    then start game again from beginning.
