SO do event timers go on pause when your not able to log on due to a problem with Bigpoint

Seriously because there are a lot of people out there that ave a lot of time and items invested in these events such as production points and more importantly x-pressos.... My guess is because the biker rally is still going on that there a lot of people with a hundred or so if not even 200 expressos spent on this horrid event and they might not have any kind of chance to finish the event and receive the prize they have been working towards winning which is why the event timers should have a fail safe and be automatically paused in an event such as what is going on right now... It wouldn't be a big deal if it was 10 or 20 mins but we are now going on like 2 hours maybe longer " i myself have been not able to log in for about 2 hours" So it is something to think about because i know your have a lot of angry people right now pissed they have no way to finish there biker rally...which again i am going to say is horrid... reason being to be quick about it, this is my 3rd time trying the event,(i am a level 33) and this is my first time finishing the event in which i failed the first 2 times because i didn't think wasting so many x-pressos was worth the prize, in which i should add i have never even came close to failing an event... But the only reason i did it now was because i had a lot of x-presso but in the end after wasting over 100 I'm not to found of my decision. and mmx

 

Biker event is hardest and drives up potato, brick, beer and other prices. Avoid it unless you can (and want) to complete it. Typically it is a waste of expresso.
I'd like refund of ALL money paid towards this game when errors occur.

 

Yes such as right now people have events going on and i know for a fact now the biker rally is over and i started the lumber jack event and wasted about 10 xpressos on that but such as stated before i can guarantee that a big % of those people not finished with biker rally yet spent a lot of x-presso and i mean a whole hell of a lot to try and finish that event " i spent over a hundred and i have not been sleeping much and i work on a computer so i was producing materials pretty much non stop" i cant imagine how many people spent that actually sleep 8 hours and go to work and it was all for nothing because that event is now over....So my question is, Is bigpoint either going to refund all the expressos and other resources that were used to the people who could not finish due to the incompetence of big point? Or are they going to give automatic completes to those people? or are they going to do nothing at all?

 

To answer the question at the head of the thread. The only thing I have ever seen done is the event was repeated again so the mayors would have an opportunity to do the event completely over again. No rebates, refunds, or reimbursements.

 

Well that is a complete and utter joke... So that is why when i finished the greek event the other day it popped back up about 10 hours later for me to start again....So basically the people that used 100+ xpressos are (edit) out of luck...If that is the case this game is sad and i will stop playing it....100 expressos is what 45 MM if i am not mistaking, I have even seen people say they used over 200 xpressos which would be 90 mm... that is a lot of Xpressos/mm TO BE LOSING ON AN EVENT that you can not finish...And there only awnser to this problem is letting people restart the event from scratch....Ya that really makes freaking sense

We are looking into the login issue and it will be resolved as soon as possible.

 

I am as irritated as anyone and for some reason it seams to happen more often then not on weekends.
About compensating "failed" events they are reluctant to do it but it happen.
Once they stopped the timer, once they let us redo a special event and I think its 3 times they have given bonus codes with some goodies in them as compensation.
They have stated before that they cant give individual compensation so IF we get any this time it will likely be a general one.

Thank you for posting about this issue. I have never attempted this event as I normally don't have enough bricks. This was my first time attempting, but with the game being inaccessible yesterday I have spent over 120 x-presso, 18MM, and all the required potatoes & bricks, and I am now down to about an hour left on this biker event with no chance at finishing. I still need about 300 helmets. Very frustrating. If they restart the event, I won't be able to participate b/c I am now out of x-presso and MM.
