I often have this thing, where I take a tour of all four of my city's areas, just to see if anything is about to require collecting anytime soon - just before I leave the game for a while. WIth a great variety of residential buildings with lots of different improvements rent-collection times are not as standardized as they used to be.

So it got me thinking. Wouldn't it be nice to have a ticker or a check-point where you could instantly see how many minutes till next possible rent (or produce) collection.

It would give a nice overview and would probably keep me from leaving the game for five more minutes at some times, and at others keep me from wasting 5 minutes to check for something that is NOT about to require my attention anytime soon.

That already exists...if you put the pointer on a house that is still in it's rent timer cycle, it shows a pop-up and at the bottom is the rent timer (counting down to the next rent collection). Hope that helps :)

Yes Gelfin, but that takes time. He meant something which you can see very easy (like the mood bar or how many PP/CC you have).

It would be nice a timer counting down till the next item or rent is ready to collect. It would also be nice to see how many items are to be collected in the next "X" minutes. It could help us decide whether to stick around for a few minutes or wait till next time.

  5. maybe it could exist above, below in the city credit above the houses.
