July is Birthday time again can we please ave the Birthday event this year with the Champagne bottles.

There is such a need for fresh events and/or variety in rewards for events. I really enjoyed the Birthday event the one time I got to do it, and would love to see it happen again. Yes, PLEASE, can we have that event this year? Especially the Champagne Bottles....that was a VERY nice aspect of the event. It is things like (that event) which have made me loyal to RC and even willing to spend cash on the game.

 

I missed that 2014 BD thingy because I had not yet gotten into the game at that point. So pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top....BP/RC? Would love to do this event to celebrate proper like. Thank you, skippyroo, for bringing this up

 

why do you want Champagne Bottles? - what do they do?

 

Prior to last year, residents dropped bottles that could be exchanged for special boosters, just like the medals. I started playing at that time, but missed the actual start date of the event so I couldn't participate. Last year, the Champagne boosters were not included, so it was a big disappointment, as I though it may finally be my chance to get some past event residences, at least.

I think it was said that they couldn't dedicate the server resources, which honestly sounds dubious at best.

 

Also, the Champagne "Birthday Boosters" included the ability to win previous Holiday event special residences. This is how I got my Haunted Villas (five of them), and my first Easter Lodge, plus a Rustic Villa. Sure hope they do the event....and REALLY hope the champagne bottles are included this time.

 

... but it would be nice with some changes now and then

 

The lack of champagne bottles was my single biggest disappointment playing RC - I had been so looking forward to it.

This sounds like so so so much fun i would totally do that event!!! and a big YES on the change now and then PLEASE RC/BP hear our plea's & demands and give us a change in our scenery... please and thank you

 

I just followed skippyroo198s link and went further by wisiting FAQs (its last years i think with no pics). And to my "horror" it shows a Coal-fired powerplant as 1 of the rewards for upper levels. I have 14 of those waiting to be put on the field (will put some in the future), but with my lack of space im not very keen about having another 1 (Only take if i have to).
Id rather take a farm or a ranch instead, or if it must be a power plant, then a wind farm 4 me please !!

And otherwise yeeees, the event (and Champagne bottles) gets my vote !

If the Birthday event is supposed to be in July, it will not happen this year. Just check the calendar...

PS. English is not my first language, I may have made mistakes.

 

Sometimes they add to the Calendar when it is a special (holiday type) event.

 

Good idea Skip. Add this to the Australian Christmas in July Winterfest and we will all be happy little campers!

 

Both events the R.C. Birthday and Christmas in July, would be awesome. Please oh great and powerful "Powers that make things happen" Please take pity on thy lowely sublicants and grant us this largess

It's not on the calendar, but that has been the case for other special events too until they were announced. I sure hope it'll be better this year, and that they do it at all. I think I've finally started to get bored with regular events lately. I forget that I am even doing them sometimes. I've failed the biker event the last two times, the only reason being that I forgot that I was doing it. Both times on the last stage with way more than enough helmets to complete it, just letting it run a bit for mastery drops. It's not even a great loss (aside from the XP), just frustrating that it happens.

I have never skipped an event or failed one before, but that that I hardly pay any mind to running events and am no longer bothered by the prospect of failing speaks volumes. Events have actually become just a matter of course in a way, like the daily grind. Even the market prices seem less-influenced by events lately.

 

I agree Arseru, the event will probably be sprung on us with a day or two notice to prepare for it , lets hope some of the rewards are revamped or something new it it
