It would be very nice if it was possible to wait to close a thread at least 1 (better 2) hours after the last post. This way some of us - not born with an English tongue - had the opportunity to edit the post when we realize that 'it came out the wrong way' instead of deleting the post.

I do understand that the Mods have a limited amount of time to handle a large quantity of issues; Therefore, they want to clear items off their list as quickly as possible, but I have wanted to add a comment to a thread which I beleive would be useful and add to the process in the future. Yet did not warrant or wish to start an entirely new thread. ;)

Agree and when you do have time to edit, a renew of the New symbol would be good.
To be honest I do understand why they close "to fast" sometime as it would be an extra workload to keep track of which tread to close when. But if possible it would be nice.
Agree, have been quite some times that I had wanted to add a comment that had been useful.
To bad moderators aren't mindreaders so they would know for sure exactly when all players agreed to close a tread :p or are they

Agreed; UI understand, as a contract paralegal, what large workloads are...but there should be some accommodation for those of us who wish to reply to a thread, too.
