Thanks for reading this, and thanks for answering ;-).

  2. There are many ways to spend metro money, you can use it to buy almost anything from building to materials. Tip, at the beginning of the game it may be beneficial to save them for later gl.

What a loaded question: "Where to spend my Metro Money?" This is a totally personal decision. You have to balance your needs and desires to come up with the perfect unique answer for your city. None of us can answer this question for you. Some suggestions from a more experience Mayor, and remember there are exceptions to even these suggestions. MM's (the abbreviation for Metro Money used often in the Forum) are expensive to obtain. MM's require either time, or real money to acquire; Therefore their use should be for items which are special of important. MM's can save you when you are running out of time to complete a project, event or task. They can instantly complete or build structures or items. Allow you to get additional building permits and special buildings. So use them with care. I recommend that you always keep a reserve level of MM's on hand for emergencies. Again this is a personal decision. Good luck and I hope this helps, it probably just confused the issue more for you. I did try.:rolleyes: They are your MM's use them as you will. :D:D

Save your MM as long as you can ... as you lv up you will get access to more buildings you only can buy with MM, and from time to time you will have the opportunity to buy mystery-buildings ... but most of all - as time goes by - and you get 'addicted' to the game ... you gonna have energy- and mood-problems ... and some of the best power-plants will cost you some MM as will the decorations.

... and you might use some MM when you get to lv25 - to buy land-expansions (remember only MM-buy when
    Expansion Sale

to get fast to a really large power-plant in the Mountains.

    And if you're gonna participate
    TOP 100 Rising Cities.

you eventually want buildings with a large number of residents.

    Thanks guys...
I am level 14 and i have problems with energy. I spent all my power plants building permits already. I made huge mistake on start...
I started 3 days ago and everything was fine till i didnt discovered market, that thing made my expansion very fast. I made my fortune on granite slabs. I was buying everything bellow 40 and was selling for 75, 76 or 79 (depending how fast i needed money).
Then i discovered a plot with power plant (cost around 700k), so i decided to buy more granite to buy that plot. Price was falling but i thought it will rise during a day, to short my story, price is still falling and i am stuck with 10k granite in warehouse...
    P.S.
Sorry for grammar mistakes, english is not my native language.

Welcome to the world of commodities trading. :D Time will solve all of your issues for you. Pace yourself, this is more of a tortoise game than a rabbit game. It is tempting to do everything all at once (and there are options to do so). But, it leads to problems in the future. Best strategy in my opinion, make a long term plan and stick with it, put some flexibility in the plan for surprises and rewards. Good luck.

    Hi Vaske_su,

as it was said above, there is no best or certain answer for your question. Everyone spends MM on different things, it depends on the situation and, of course, the amount of MM.

There are few things that are very useful and make your playing more comfortable, but they are not that important. If you play the game quite often, you will not need them, for example:
    • rent collector (I find this very useful.)
    • completing the events using MM (I used MM only when there was a special event, but I would recommend saving the money for better things.)
    • skipping the building steps when constructing a building (I sometimes used MM for skipping. Especially the buildings in higher levels require many materials and when you want to build more buildings, it saves you a lot of material.)
    • Vitamin-X (I like the emergency system and I used some MM to buy Vitamin-X and make the employees better.)
If you do not buy MM and you get them only via cinema etc., there are few things you could spend MM on:
(the list is based on my personal opinion):
    • buying land expansions - the price gets higher and it saves a lot of money. In addition, sometimes there is a discount for this.
    • mystery buildings permits and special houses, decorations, power plants - the special decorations and power plants are worth it in my opinion. I do not think the Mystery building are that good, but there is a difference. In addition, there is a risk of having multiple things of same type, which may not be nice to have in the city.
I would not recommend to spend MM on common permits or completing the common events.

Dont know if there is anything more I forgot to mention. If yes, I will add it later.

I hope you will spend the MM on something, you will like :)

    Happy New Year,
