why no bank building

    hello everyone, ive just noticed in the listed buildings there's no bank building in amongst them all.....i find it strange the developers didn't include it the list.

    There are numerous item that could be included, unfortunately a game of this type can not have every thing that everyone wishes for.
    also this is the wrong area for this type of question. I will move this to the appropriate area for further comments by other forum members good luck with this :);)

    As the Mayor, City Hall pretty much acts as the bank. Think Capitalist West meets Communist East (maybe NE these days). Good idea for an additional building though. Capitalist residents only though I would suspect ;):D

    Except as a residential....what exactly would a bank building "do"? Just curious.....

    The only functions I could think of are:
    1. As a link to the Treasury button.
    2. It could be like the city hall, but the city hall actually effects the game play, Now it could be a modifer to the game play for upper levels?
    3. It could give out awards like the christmas tree or winter stadium, maybe give out cc's and MM's.
    These are the best I can come up with Mr. Owl. I like you do not see a functionality to it, except aesthetics. Ir would look nice in my City center complex. Along with the City Hall, Academy, and the emergency services.

    Any other suggestions out there.

    There have been several suggestions for a bank, and I really don't see the benefit in general. People tend to want one to get money more easily (interest), or do a loan for themselves or with neighbors, all of which have potentially very-bad outcomes.

    My city hall has a treasury, backed by wood ingots. Good enough for me. :p

    Possibly a few of us could form a investment partnership and use it as a facility for short term loans ;):D:D:p

    As a paralegal by trade, I would suggest maybe an L.L.P. joint venture? Seriously though, I don't see a practical application (game wise). Sure it might look nice in the city...and free CCs and MMs would be nice but we get that so may ways already that a bank giving it every day would (in my opinion) be just too easy. I would like to hear acrtillion's thoughts on this.
