Windows 8

I upgraded to windows 8 and now I am unable to view all aspects of my city, that is the graphics. I can't finish challenges or anything because I can't see what is going on. I guess I have to end my time playing this game. I was getting into it too. Is there a format of this game that is compatible with windows 8? The error is: Shockwave Flash is not responding.

just a few helpful tips. try to update your flash player, try to clear your browser cache and flash cache. try another browser
i have windows 8.1 and i've played RC both on chrome and firefox and they both work fine. yes shockwave crashes from time to time. but thats usually because browser has been idle for to long. try to log out after you finished playing and log back in when you want to return.

 

I play on a Windows 8.1 laptop (using IE11 touch browser usually) and have no issues, so I'm guessing it is the flash player, not the OS

 

Can you please advise if this is resolved as I just tested your account using Firefox and it works instantly?.

 

Here is another possible source of conflict. When you upgraded to windows 8 did you upgrade your flash player also some (read as most older versions) of adobe flash player have issues working with Windows 8. I have been playing the game for almost a year with windows 8 using Firefox, Google, and Internet Expoler and have had no compatibility issues. Good luck and keep trying to work through the issue.
